Day 10 ~ 21 Days of Prayer

Wednesday Morning Prayer Devotions from Brady Wright, Summit Church, Colorado

Have you ever faced something difficult, and thought to yourself “there is no way that I can do this?” I know that I have. I have good and bad news. The bad news is that you are right, YOU cannot do this alone. However, the good news is that you were not meant to do it alone in the first place. God created us to live in relationship with one another through the good times and the bad. Think about it, isn’t it more fun to celebrate with others instead of by yourself? Is it not easier to cry on someones shoulder rather than cry in isolation? Any way that we look at it, life was meant to be done together. As Peter was being led to Caesarea by God Cornelius was already gathering his friends and family to his home (forming a small group) awaiting for the arrival of Peter and for God to move. After Peter arrived, and began sharing God’s Word the Book of Acts tells us that “while Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as well as those who came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.” Authentic relationships create supernatural opportunities for God to move! Whatever your facing know that you were not meant to go through it alone. We were created for relationship, and that is where life change happens! God Bless You!
