Day 11 ~ 21 Days of Prayer

Brady’s morning devotion:

What do you think of when you think of the word service? More than likely the picture of a restaurant server comes to mind. However, the ultimate form of service is what Jesus did for us on the Cross. I look at the Book of John, and although Jesus was facing certain death on the Cross, He took the time to wash the feet of the disciples. An attitude of service is an important part of who we are as Christians. God is taking each of us on a spiritual journey that ultimately will lead us to a life of service. Not for money, or promotion, but to make a big deal about Jesus and what He means to us. When we gather together as a group with an attitude of service we make a difference in the people that are doing life around us. King Solomon states in the Book of Proverbs “where there is no guidance the people fall, but in an abundance of councilors there is victory” (Proverbs 11:14 NKJV). God has gifted you in a unique way, to join others and make a difference that only you can. Take the next step in your journey, and make today about bringing joy to someone else! Join us as we pray for all of those people who will go through the Growth Trek, and join the Dream Team this fall! God Bless You!
